Description:CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), also known as Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, equips educators with the skills to prevent and respond to challenging behaviors and crisis situations in a way that prioritizes safety and de-escalation. It focuses on preventing behavior problems, using verbal de-escalation techniques, and, when necessary, employing non-restrictive physical interventions.
